Since September 2008 we have sponsored W-s-M Junior Athletics Club by donating funds to support the club with its training of junior athletes.

The club provides a fun and safe training environment for children of all abilities from age 7 to 16, assisting with both physical and social development through sport.

W-s-M Junior Athletics Clun coaches are from the local community and commit personal time for free.

At Change Recruitment Services we are delighted to support this excellent facility for local children.

North Somerset Business Awards 2010

Change Recruitment Services have been awarded first place in the 2010 Siân Lloyd-Jones Business Awards by the North Somerset Enterprise Agency. Please see below a snippet from the press release about the awards:

The Siân Lloyd-Jones Business Awards recognises outstanding business talent in the local area. North Somerset Enterprise Agency’s team, which acts as a 'one stop shop' providing free or low-cost advice, information and training to start-up and small businesses in the area, has run the awards annually since 2000 in memory of their former colleague and friend. Siân Lloyd-Jones worked hard to support local businesses in her role as Client Services Co-ordinator for the enterprise agency before a brain haemorrhage cut short her life at the age of just 32.

Presenting the awards, Santander’s Jenny Trapnell commented: “We had a record number of award entries this year and it was difficult to choose just three winners due to the extremely high quality of business achievements.”

First place was awarded to Change Recruitment Services, which provides permanent and temporary recruitment services to the accountancy and finance community in North Somerset, Somerset and Avon. Its team of three has to date placed over 200 people in permanent jobs and found positions for over 100 temporary staff in local businesses.

Director Sarah Warne commented: “We are delighted to have won this award. Having moved to Weston-super-Mare seven years ago, my ambition was always to run a business that would serve the North Somerset community. I set up Change Recruitment as a business that would work alongside my role as a Mum to nine year old Joseph and we’ve gone from strength to strength. It’s fantastic to be recognised for being a successful company providing a service that people really want.”
